His Royal Highness, King Elexis I, Olabode Oludayo Anise II is the son of Olabode and Vangie Anise; the brother of Olange Bluford and Dr. Annalise Anise, (Lady in Waiting 2014); and the grandson of the late Leroy Daffin and Deloris Hunt and the late Dr. Emmanuel Anise and Dr. Ayotunde Anise. An International Baccalaureate Alumnus of S.S Murphy High, Olabode, graduated eighth in his class and was elected SGA President his senior year at Murphy. During high school, he was also a member of the Elite Chapter of the Mobile Kappa League and a Beau in the 2011 Le Beautillion Militaire. Olabode, achieved the distinct honor of being named a National Merit Scholar and Achievement Scholar. After Murphy, Olabode obtained numerous academic scholarships. He matriculated to Auburn University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, while at Auburn he was initiated into the Theta Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., in the Spring of 2012. With an unquenchable thirst to achieve and inspire, Olabode was elected SGA Vice President, the first African American student to hold the office at Auburn University. Currently, Olabode is a Research and Development Engineer at Duo Security in Ann Arbor Michigan. Before accepting this position he attended the University of Florida pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Centered Computing, he will continue his doctoral studies at The University of Michigan in the fall with a concentration in Computer Science. King Anise is honoring the 10th Anniversary of his fraternity brother and former Kappa League Advisor Joseph Jermaine Roberson’s reign as King Elexis I, by wearing his train which was originally designed by Mrs. Pat Richardson, the Anise family commissioned Julia Greer Forbes to design and execute his costume and train embellishments. King Olabode is a member of Church of the Highlands.
